Haoran Geng

Haoran Geng is a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, where he is advised by Dr. Sharon Xiaobo Hu and Dr. Michael Niemier. His research explores secure memory systems and computer architecture, with a particular interest in using reinforcement learning and processing-in-memory (PIM) techniques to improve hardware security.
Haoran holds an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Columbia University and a B.S. from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He is passionate about building practical, hardware-level solutions for privacy-preserving computation and has experience with system simulation, memory encryption, and crossbar-based acceleration.
