Zephan Michaels

After completing his undergraduate degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, Zephan Enciso returned as a PhD student in 2021 to continue his research. His research focuses on the deployment of edge inference in safety-critical, SWaP-constrained systems, hardware acceleration of uncertainty-aware artificial intelligence, and novel devices, circuits, and architectures for machine learning. Zephan is also a member of Notre Dame's AFROTC Detachment 225 and enjoys photography and practicing Olympic archery in his free time.
Zephan is co-advised by Prof. Ningyuan Cao in the Department of Electrical Engineering.
